GATAPU-General Aptitude Test for Admission to Polish Universities

ELIGIBILITY:

Polish Universities have a unified form of eligibility for all 4 stages of Higherstudies in Poland. The eligibility is as per the rules laid out by the Ministry of Science and higher education and Ministry of Health in Poland. Higher education in Poland is essentially open to all who possess the necessary qualifications. In principle, foreign students must prove their proficiency in English or Polish and hold the appropriate school leaving certificate.Foreign applicants who wish to study at Bachelors Degree in one of Polish higher education institutions must be able to produce the following documentation: 
a.
Secondary school leaving certificate (minimum 12 years of education) which entitles them to enter higher education in their own country; This certificate should include a clause stating that it gives access to higher education in the country where the certificate was issued. If this clause is not included, the candidate should present a letter from the complement authorities stating that the certificate give access to higher education in the country in which the certificate was issued. The International Bacalaureate Diploma is also accepted as proof of academic qualification for admission to higher education.  

b. Apostille confirming the above secondary school leaving certificate 

General Studies 

The Candidate should have completed minimum his/her Secondary School examinations or equivalent exam. The subjects compulsory in 10+2 should be at par with the subjects required for the perusal of University studies. The minimum marks in each subject should not be less than 50% and average should not be less than 50%. The Candidates pursuing higher studies in English should have English as a compulsory subject in the above exams. 

Engineering Faculty  


The Candidate should have completed minimum his/her Secondary School examinations or equivalent exam. The subjects compulsory in 10+2 should be
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The minimum marks in each subject should not be less than 50% and average should not be less than 50%. The Candidates pursuing higher studies in English should have English as a compulsory subject in the above exams.

Medical Faculty 

The Candidate should have completed minimum his/her Secondary School examinations or equivalent exam. The subjects compulsory in 10+2 should be Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The minimum marks in each subject should not be less than 50% and average should not be less than 50%. The Candidates pursuing higher studies in English should have English as a compulsory subject in the above exams. 


GATAPU 2008 in India

26-27 July 2008

GATAPU test shall be held in India by Polish Universities on 26th and 27th July.It shall be held simultaneously in four Indian Metropolitan cities

The Application form has to be dully filled. Approved Registration Centers shall need to check the Educational certificates before accepting and issuing the code number to the Candidates

Application forms without academical documents shall not be accepted.
