GATAPU-General Aptitude Test for Admission to Polish Universities

The areas of English Language covered in the Aptitude Test :

English Language

The General Aptitude Test in English will consist of two Tasks, taken subsequently in the same order as presented below.

Task 1

  • Assesses Writing
  • Provides the choice of three different writing forms and topics.
  • It commands seven words to be incorporated in the text
  • It takes 30 minutes to complete

Task 2

  • Assesses Use of English:  Reading, Vocabulary and Grammar
  • All the questions in the test are in the multiple choice format
  • The test  comprises 40 questions
  • It takes 30 minutes to administer

Task2 is conducted basing on the selection of professional Placement Tests provided by ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe), who has worked closely with the Council of Europe’s  Common European Framework.

Both Tasks cover 60 minutes sitting time altogether



GATAPU 2008 in India

26-27 July 2008

GATAPU test shall be held in India by Polish Universities on 26th and 27th July.It shall be held simultaneously in four Indian Metropolitan cities

The Application form has to be dully filled. Approved Registration Centers shall need to check the Educational certificates before accepting and issuing the code number to the Candidates

Application forms without academical documents shall not be accepted.
